On March 31st 2022 we premiered The Gentleman’s Companion, a new solo cabaret show based on the iconic recipe book of the same name.

Dianna Nixon crafted this show, which reveals her relationship with the book, drawing out connections to concerns in our contemporary life. Christopher Samuel Carroll applied his considerable expertise in solo performance as director and dramaturg.

This first performance took place at Louie Louie Gin Bar, upstairs at Verity Lane Market, in Canberra, as part of Good Company, supported by You Are Here and ACT Government through the Creative Recovery and Resilience Program.
